Mason has officially left the building, the hospital that is, and made it home. At his check out he weighed in at a whopping 5 lbs. 3.8 oz. and measured a towering 17 3/4 inches long, quite a change in 4 1/2 weeks. Even though today was a rainy day it was wonderful to take Mason for his first drive. Carrie felt the need to treat me like a chauffeur as she traveled along in the back seat with the big guy. Anyway we have all made it home, changed the first diaper at home, taken the first bottle at home, etc... Tater is still trying to figure this Mason thing out. Since the moment we brought Mason into the house Tater has made it is primary objective to secure the house and neighborhood of all possible evil while not leaving Mason's side for more than a brief minute. I think he understands his new duties pretty well. Here are a few pictures from today and a final video from the NICU too. Thanks to all of you for your continued love and support.

What great news!!! It's amazing how different he looks after 4 1/2weeks. He is such a cutie. Enjoy your time at home with him. I look forward to the updates in the future. Take care Ryan and Carrie.
Great News, wonderful pics and he is so handsome, lovable and perfect, I think that about covers it for a very proud Nana....Seriously, it is more than wonderful and we thank God every day for such a miraculous quick homecoming. Obviously God had a different plan than all of ours, but he certinly has done wonderfully--take time to enjoy, the time will pass much to quickly.

Dear Carrie, Ryan and Mason,
God bless each of you! I am soooo thrilled that Mason is home! Enjoy and savor each moment!
I am looking forward to visiting Mason. Relax, it won't be too soon. I do not want to take away from your special time with Mason.
Love,

He is just adorable...so antimated - likes that hand waving thing...maybe he is practicing for politics???
I'm sure Tater will be the perfect body guard...good luck to you all and your new family life...Love Kathy & Steve.
The pictures are great! He sure is a good looking little guy. Tater looks like he is thinking, "What exactly is that thing?! And why is everyone paying attention to it instead of me?" Don't worry, I'm sure they will be best buds before long! Walker is fond of Henry now that he gets to eat anything that Henry drops on the floor! It's especially fun when Walker tries to help clean Henry's face... with his tongue! Gross!
