Happy Easter!

Well today wasn't the most traditional Easter Carrie and I have shared together, but it was the first one we celebrated with Mason around. Last weekend Mason was visited by Nana and Grandpa Schnarr, so this weekend we got the chance to celebrate Easter with Clair and Grandma and Grandpa Hoppenjans. Mason's weight is up to 4lbs. 3 oz., and has started a trend of gaining an ounce a day over the last week. He is getting some 4 calorie powder with his mom's nectar, something else that has seemed to help him bulk up. Mason took his first bottle at the beginning of the week, and has gotten them daily since then. I have to admit that he can belch with the best of them, something that brought a tear to his dad's eye yesterday. Anyway I think that covers the basics for now, and after all I am sure you really just want to see some updated pictures, so here they are. Happy Easter!

First of all I want to say congratulations on the birth of Mason. I had no idea until I saw the birth announcement in the paper last night. I immediately contacted Jodi and she filled me in and then I found your blog to get all of the updates. All three of you are in our prayers. I am so glad to hear that he is progressing well and I hope you get to bring him home soon. What a blessing!!! Ryan you sound like one proud father.
