Upside Down

Like Jack Johnson sings "With each new day we are seeing change..." It's crazy to think about where the three of us were a month ago (sorry it's been that long since the last post) and compare that to where we are today. Every time we (meaning I) think this parenthood thing is next to impossible Mason sends a signal that says everything is going to be o.k. and then it is. Our world has been turned upside down, but now that we're starting to get the hang of it, it's not so bad. Within the last month we have taken 3 long weekend trips, 2 to Dubois County for family, friends, and a wedding (Congratulations Kari and Adam!) and then this past week we traveled north of Indy to visit our friends Steve, Katie and their son Henry at their new place of residence. For the most part Mason has traveled like a champ and even slept through some nasty storms on the way home Saturday night...just like his Dad would have if he wasn't driving. We had our 2 month check up last Thursday where Mason weighed in at a whopping 7 lbs. 12 oz. and stretched out to 20 and 1/4 inches...the boy is getting bigger everyday! While we were at the doctor Mason was also the recipient of his first round of shots...and can he hold his breath! He has since settled down and is getting back to a normal routine, that is until I am home next week and Carrie returns to a short work week of 3 days. Below you will find a variety of pictures, some that even include Mason sporting his custom made Tuxedo! Watch out ladies, this ones going to be a heart breaker...
