Gettin' Ready for Baby

Sorry it's been awhile since we last posted, but with the holidays and alot of other things happening during January we seem to have lost track of the time. In terms of time, this Tuesday we begin the 3rd trimester of the pregnancy. Carrie's doctor has said he will start seeing her every other week from here on out. We've enrolled for plenty of classes to help prepare us for what's to come, but we've also had the opportunity to spend some time with our new niece Addison which has been just as educational.

We've been working through our lists of names, but we haven't finalized anything at this time, at least I don't think we have, but we are getting closer. The other thing we have been making progress on is the baby's room. It took a little time, but it was well worth it. Prior to starting someone had questioned my lack of patience when it comes to lovely projects like painting. I won't name my wife's name, but let's just say that challenge was all I needed to steam roll my way through it. Over the last week I was able to paint the two colors top and bottom as well as cut, paint, and install the chair rail in the middle of the wall. Carrie has asked what I'll do now that it's done, but I think getting my last few weeks of rest in will be just fine. Anyway, we've included some pics below so take a look and enjoy. Hopefully you'll be able to see it and the baby in person in the near future.

The joys of painting!
