Hopefully most of you have heard the news by now, but in case you haven't...Surprise...Carrie and I are expecting. The baby's due date has been projected to be 5/5/09. If I remember correctly we just entered our 14th week yesterday, so that in and of itself is wonderful. Carrie and I met with her regular doctor last week at which time he informed us that things look and sound good.
We have enjoyed visiting several blogs of friends and family over the last year and a half, so we thought why not jump off the deep end too and share from a distance. We look forward to sharing updates with you as the months go by. Feel free to comment on what you see if you like, constructive criticism of the blog will be taken into consideration, but you'll still probably see the basics, that is until our friend Dereck shares all of his pointers.

Katie and I are thrilled! It will be the most amazing thing you've ever experienced! We will have to loan you our library of books... yes, library. It's like cramming for exams. However, when all is said and done... you just do what comes natural. Congratulations!!
